Sparks the Robot

Sparks featured in Toy Story 3 as one of Lotso’s henchmen. He gets his name from the sparks that appear from his chest cavity when he rolls around. Sparks only has one line in the entire film; when he points out Chunk’s low intelligence, he says, “Neither are you, Chunk.”

Disney Toy Story 3 SPARKS Robot – Large posable Pixar toy with light

A short demonstration of the large scale SPARKS robot toy from Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 3. WAIT for the surprise ending!! ;D Sparks is a cool robot toy with posable extending arms, spring loaded grip hands and light up chest. (the light is a bit brighter than the video suggests) Although basic it is certainly a cool display piece. He’s about 8 inches tall.

My Toy Robot Collection // 2018 UPDATE

Here’s an updated video of the toy robots that are currently in my collection. I have a mixture of both old vintage robots as well as modern tin plate reproductions. This is mainly because original tin toy robots from the golden era go for ridiculously high amounts of money. Most ordinary folks, me included, just cannot justify spending that much! Early on in my collecting journey I came to the conclusion that I’d rather have several reproductions that work, rather than one rusty shelf queen that doesn’t. It’s the magic of these toy robots coming alive and moving that is the fun part!
