The Iron Giant Coin Bank by Trendmasters

The Iron Giant Coin Bank by Trendmasters. This collectible toy robot money bank was produced in 1999 and is becoming increasingly rare to find. The Iron Giant is a classic Warner Bros. animated film based on the novel by Ted Hughes. A must watch if you haven’t seen it already! This Iron Giant animated bank has the robot sitting on a scrapheap, saying ‘Crunchy Delicious Metal’ (a phrase from the movie) as he chomps on your money. Hogarth sits atop his knee and is really tiny in comparison to the 12 inch figure. My Iron Giant has yellowed a little with age and the motor is getting noisy – but it’s still a cool piece to add to my growing robot collection. What do you think? Are you an Iron Giant fan?
