Bump ‘N’ Go is a term used to describe toy robots that move around in a somewhat skittish haphazard way and when they ‘bump’ into something they change direction. Most Bump N Go robots have a skirted designs (no legs) with hidden motorised wheels that propel them forward.
Mystery Action is a similar term used to describe these sorts of robots. Although I’ve not found an exact definition, my take is that Mystery Action robots don’t necessarily need to bump into something for them to change direction. They do that on their own, hence their movement is mysterious. :)
